The Connecting Bentonville Plan will translate the community’s vision into an implementable network of bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. See progress that has already been made towards creating this network.
While any a well-designed bicycle or pedestrian facility might support can support and encourage active travel in one specific place, it is unlikely to have a greater impact on how community members travel, a single facility may not create significant impact on a community’s ability to travel to destinations on foot or by bicycle. The more effective approach to encouraging bicycling and walking is through developing a network of interconnected facilities that run between key destinations.
